We need to put Deimos & Phobos back together again. This will create enough tidal force & friction to Mars’ core, putting the geodynamo into full effect. If we make the moon’s rotation around Mars elliptical, it might have a greater effect.
“It has long been known that the Moon contributes to the effect of tides on Earth, but a new study suggests it could be the missing link in the generation of our planet’s magnetic field.” — skyatnightmagazine.com
If life is a video game, the clue would be hidden in a conspicuous way. The 2 moons, Deimos & Phobos, look like 2 puzzle pieces that need to be put back together again.
If the 2 moons is not enough mass, then we have an asteroid belt next to Mars with thousands of asteroids to choose from.
It is not impossible to put big rocks together. It just takes teamwork.
There are other moon’s to choose from as well, but the point is that Mar’s needs to have a good moon satellite to pull on its core. This, I believe, is the best way we can retain Mars’ atmosphere, making our efforts in making Mars habitable a lot easier.
Ad Astra!
