A “Hybrid System Economy” is a system that unites the monetary lifestyle with a non-monetary lifestyle together, working symbiotically.
Today we have a purely monetary economy the falls on the unwritten principle that “Money is a necessity”; Money is the main principle of our current economy.
No matter which way you go money is there constantly demanding. No matter the donations that is given, money is always at play. & if you do not have money in a society, your life becomes a life of deficiency, hindered by the principles of our economy. Try to live a life with no money, do not beg for money or take any money, no money whatsoever, you will find it to be very difficult & inhumane.
Understand that I am not talking about living off grid in the forest where one can live independently from society. This is not living in society, its apart from it. In any case, it is not the case where everyone can live off grid in such a way; it would be impossible with our current population. It would not be viable or advisable.
The benefit of cities is that we are able to get our necessary needs with ease & efficiency. This allows many to have more time to focus on other things such as art, technology, innovations, inventions, health, etc… This is the benefit of not having to learn or undertake many other actions. To interdepend on the people, our species, our humanity, working as a team, helping each other live life more efficiently & more in their own way. A city, a society, should be an orchestrated harmony.
But society does not seem to feel this way, at least for the majority of people. People seem to not be working for the people, for society. The majority of people seem to be working for the benefit of themselves. Ask the people, why they work? Most all of them will say because of money, of course. & this is reasonable, at least for the way our economy is operated. But it is irrational for humanity & life itself to run an economic system in this way because in the end humanity & the habitat that preserves humanity will be destroyed along with the many wild animals, because all the economy cares about is money, & money doesn’t know anything about life.
This is why it is vital & necessary to change our economic principle that aligns to benefit humanity & life itself. While today, you may make millions of dollars living the good life, but it is a great dire mistake to do what is best for humanity if it destroys the very habitat that preserves humanity.
While, in today’s time, many make millions, many more suffer in poverty. If we are to change our economic principle to benefit humanity & the environment, then we must provide a method to give way to this principle.
Currently, we cannot change our economic principle because it is a purely capitalist society. While many think that we ought to get rid of capitalism &/or money, we actually do not have to. We just need something to complement it, something to balance it. This is where the Hybrid System comes in.
We are all too used to living in a purely monetary society, so understanding the monetary lifestyle needs no explanation. But to implement a non-monetary lifestyle in a society with monetary means seems baffling, confusing, & maybe impossible. But it is quite simple, simpler than those who try to create a moneyless society.
If you have researched concepts such like the Venus Project founded by Jacque Fresco, who talks about creating a “Resourced Based Economy”. Or Peter Joseph, the founder of “The Zeitgeist Movement”, then understanding the hybrid system will be very easy for you to understand because both of these proponents talk about how to create a moneyless society & all the hybrid system is is a blend of our current system & a moneyless system.
Our principles should align with humanity & the environment. Our economic principle for money should be changed where “Money should only enhance the quality of our lives”. However, in order for us to abide by this principle, we must implement the Free class. Right now we cannot align our economic principles for the benefit of the environment or humanity because the way our economic operating system is; it is programmed to conflict with the environment/humanity. The Free class will allow for this principle to be established.
So, what in Pluto’s world is the Free class? The Free Class will substitute the poor/low class. There will still be an upper/rich class, middle class, but the poor will be no more. This will get rid of the poor. Do not misunderstand, I am not saying this will get rid of homelessness. The Hybrid System is not a panacea for all our economic problems. Nothing will solve every single issue. In matter of fact, even a utopian world would create problems because its a utopia; food for thought.
The Hybrid System is only meant to open a pathway in order to align our economic principle to benefit humanity & the environment.
The Free Class will not just benefit those living in poverty or in the low class. It will also benefit everyone. There will be many ways, many methods of how a society operates as a Free class.
Nevertheless, the Free class will be the vital movers of society. They will work not for monetary means but for the people, for society, & in exchange the government will provide all what is necessary to live an adequately good life. Yes, you might say the people will work for their basic necessities, however, we must understand the dynamic change of perception when a different way of living occurs. When you start to feel as if the government really cares, when you start to see that you are being taking care of for the work you do & that you are living better, then trust & pride will arise in society & through trust & pride, motivation & inspiration will also arise in the people willing & feeling as they are working for the people, for society.
Let me explain why this is such a better system for the people. In our current economy industries benefit on negative outcomes & therefore are incentivized to create a negative outcomes. For example, pharma profits off of the unhealthy, off of the mentally unstable. They are incentivized not to fix the issue. manufacturers are incentivized to make products with cheaper material in order for consumers to keep consuming; planned obsolescence. Should I give more examples? I really don’t feel I have to because I know you know so many more examples. But with the free class our shift of thinking changes.
With the Free Class, now industries cannot profit off you because you do not depend on monetary means. & the society needs workers, so the government/the people will be incentivized to make you as healthy as possible in order for you to work with as much energy & enthusiasm. The government would be incentivized to take care of you in order for you to undertake the many jobs the society has. With good governance, people will feel pride to go to work, which is better than being forced/coerced to work, like money does.
Moreover, with the Free class, since you do not work for money, although you still have the opportunity to make money to attain ownership of materials, since it’s a hybrid system, then companies can hire more people making it so that work time becomes a lot less since you have more workers available. A company is limited by how many people they can hire because each employee cost money, but now, without this money limitation, they can bring as many people as possible in order to get the job done as fast as possible.
Nevertheless, no matter what, we must change our economic ways. Our current economic system is not sustainable & if we do not change, we will all be doomed. So, however good you may have it, it will not last long. Maybe 10 years more, maybe 30, maybe 100, but it cannot last because our economy goes against being sustainable. It is actually anti-economic. & the higher the population increases, the faster things will be disrupted. But with the Hybrid System, increase of population will not be a huge disruption, it will actually be more of a benefit.
While there is so much more to be said about the free class & the Hybrid System, for now, I just wanted to point out some main pointers. Just so that you may start thinking, not necessarily of how I think a society should be, but of how a society that aligns its principles for humanity & the habitat should be.
Why not have the best of both worlds, allowing you to not be dependent on money while still having the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of money?
